Rosie and I have been up at the Temple Ecrins Hut above La Berarde. We walked in on friday and on saturday left at 4.30am to climb Pic Coolidge via its South Ridge. This route has snow to 35 degrees, a little rock climbing and some good scrambling on it. The snow had frozen well overnight making it good for cramponing.
