Sunday 17th January Cruachan Horseshoe
Tha Falkirk High Tops Team and i were out today on the Cruahcan Horseshoe. It was raining at all levels but the turf was still frozen up high. Rocks were rimmed above 950m. Crampons were worn from the col at 820m on the way up and for the whole ridge as there is still large amounts of snow and ice around.
